Support and Guidance
Advice and Support for Doctoral Researchers at the Graduate School
If problems arise during your doctoral studies, there are various contact points at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and at university level that you can turn to. We recommend taking action at an early stage if you experience conflicts or other problems related to your doctorate. In difficult or stressful situations, it is worthwhile seeking support promptly. Within the Graduate School, your first point of contact is always the doctoral coordinator responsible for your subject.
The Graduate School of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
- The first point of contact at the Graduate School for all questions or concerns relating to your doctorate is the doctoral coordinator responsible for your subject: PhD coordinators
- You may also contact the person of trust for doctoral candidates at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences: Prof. Dr. Veronika Brandstätter-Morawietz, Vice Dean of the Graduate School.
- The heads of institutes and departments are also important contact points.
